Apr 15, 2020 Best Focus Stacking Software for Mac? Jul 31, 2012 Looking for opinions on focus stacking software that works well on the Mac platform. It seems that dedicated stacking software might be better than what I can achieve in CS6?? So image quality is top-notch. Best cameras for Instagram in 2020. Mar 2, 2020 at 22:23. CombineZP should run fine on an Intel Mac (after you get rid of OS/X and install Windows). Edit: Since a lot of people seem to have missed the point and think this isn't helpful, let me try to put things more directly. I am reasonably certain there is not currently any free (in either sense) software for stacking that runs directly on MacOS and is anywhere close to as good as CombineZP. Whatever software you use for image calibration will almost certainly also do aligning and image stacking. It is possible to align and stack images in Photoshop, but for more than a couple of frames, the process is extremely tedious and not as accurate as with a dedicated astronomical image.
FRANZIS Verlag GmbH software seems as great tools. But, I cannot use any of them because they do not open properly on my 2560 x 1440 display resolution laptop. Each of their programs I’ve tried opens with a too-small interface and unreadable menus. I’ve tried to fix that with every compatibility setting windows 10 enables but neither worked and solved the issue. I wrote the company several times, describing the problem and asked for a resolution. Never got an answer. So, with some sorrow, I’m no longer even trying to install their tools.
Change my screen resolution because of a single incompatible software? Thanks but I’ll pass.
Gideon Meiry, High definition display does have a problem with older software including a lot of office type programs.
This works for me on all these programs. Go to properties, then compatability, at the bottom click on change settings for all users (or High DPI settings). High DPI scaling override, in dropdown change from application to system
click the tick box.
